The e-bike tours give both e-bike newcomers and experienced e-bikers the opportunity to test bikes and get to know the UNESCO World Heritage Site Wachau. There are six different tours to choose from, each for a maximum of 10 participants on Saturday, 13.07.2024 and Sunday, 14.07.2024. The entry fee covers all costs incurred for the tour (excluding meals).
E-Bike Tours:
- Beginner tour (13.07.2024, 9:30 - 11:30 or 11:30 - 13:30, 25 €)
Ideal for e-bike newcomers who want to discover the comfort and experience of an e-bike for themselves. On a 2-hour tour, you will get to know both the bike and the geographical highlights of the region. - Half-day tour (13.07.2024, 9:00 - 13:00, 40 €)
Do you already have experience on an e-bike? Then this tour is just right for you! Explore the Wachau UNESCO World Heritage Site and discover both the historical and cultural treasures of the region. - Full-day tour (13.07.2024, 9:00 - 16:00, 60 €)
Experience a unique tour through the Wachau and enjoy breathtaking views from the most beautiful hotspots of the UNESCO World Heritage Site up close! - Close experience tour: Seiberer-Windstallgraben (14.07.2024, 08:15 - 12:15, 50 €)
Be there when the participants of the Krone Champions Cycling Marathon make their way up the Seiberer and experience the last moments before the decisive final descent down the Windstallgraben. All from exclusive positions close to the roadside. - Close experience tour: Förthof-Maria Langegg (14.07.2024, 08:30 - 12:30, 50 €)
Live and up close to Austria's biggest peleton. Follow the start of the Wachau Cycle Marathon with a unique view over the Wachau and support the athletes on their last kilometers to the finish!
E-bike rental:
The free e-bike rental service from Intersport can be used by any participant of legal age who is registered for the e-bike tour. The e-bike rental must be booked as part of the online registration and can only be booked as long as free capacity is available. Please be at the organization tent at least 15 minutes before the start, or at least 30 minutes before for e-bike rental!
